The Old Woollen is a 500 capacity venue in Farsley, Leeds. It is a collaboration between Trouble at Mill and Farsley's Sunny Bank Mills, and is twinned with The Constitutional.
The venue is set within a 20,000 sq. ft., 4 story building dating back to 1830.
We have big ambitions to transform these historic buildings into a nationally recognised centre for culture, the arts and entertainment. We are calling this PROJECT BOILERHOUSE.
This will take time and a lot of money and whilst we look for ways to fund this, the first step is to get what space we can buzzing again with culture and entertainment.
The team at Sunny Bank Mills have refurbished the ground floor and reignited our partnership with the amazing team from Trouble at Mill, who are busy programming top quality music, comedy and theatre.

Review:
Fantastic venue located in Farlsley at sunny Bank Mills. Venue is super clean and have band/artists/something on nearly every night. Well worth a visit. Site has exceptional and private parking for the venue as well.

Review:
Called up to the Old Woollen for tonight's Heavy Salad/The Chameleons gig and I wasn't disappointed.
The Old Woollen is set int he lovely surrounding of Sunny Bank Mills in Farlsey, Leeds, West Yorkshire and I would say that this is by far, the best venue i have ever been too.
First off, the facilite provides fantastic parking in private car park and is located right outside the venue and tonight, with the exception of an outside wall, I parked next to the stage.
The grounds itself are amazing, clean and appears to be in a secure envrironment.
The toilets are outside and are properly maintaned and clean although in the autumn/winter, the visit won;t be as invting.
The itself is set ina big spacious room and is clean and inf act a lovely venue with the bar set back from the stage with thin steel beams acting as support around the floor acting as support for the upper floor and they don't block your view.

Next on the main band The Chameleons
Another belter of a session. After waiting for what seemed an eternity I wasn't disappointed at The Chameleons. Mark Burgess (Singer and frontman) performed as he was 18 again and interacted with the audience like he was best friends with every single person.
The whole performance with just amazin with The chameleons playing a long list of songs spanning not only "The Script Of the Bridge" album but from EP's and whatever else they could belt out.
